Thanksgiving In Savannah, GA
Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of year to visit Savannah, especially if you book one of our cozy bed and breakfast rooms with a fireplace. Most of the restaurants near our bed and breakfast remain open, serving either a traditional Thanksgiving feast (with a Southern flair, of course) or their regular menus. Our bed and breakfast is located in the heart of downtown Savannah, which means that you can get an early start on your Christmas shopping, by visiting the nearby shops, boutiques, and galleries.
On Saturday after Thanksgiving the annual Savannah Harbor Boat Parade of Lights takes place. Festivities include more than 60 yachts and sailboats (decked out with holiday lights), as well as a fireworks display. There are many things to do in Savannah.
